- At her 4.5 month checkup, Miss Lucy weighed a whopping 16 lbs.
- She is still in her 3-6 month clothes
- She has eaten peas, peaches, bananas, green beans, sweet potato, carrots, rice cereal, apple--she really likes sweet potatoes and apple sauce mixed with rice cereal.
- She is still waking up 1 or 2 times during the night to eat (she will drink 6 to 8 oz of formula each time!)
- She loves to jump in her jumperoo
- She loves her big brother and laughs and laughs at him
- She is almost turning over from back to front, she gets to her side and stops
- She constantly kicks her feet
- She blows raspberries incessently
- I feel a tooth coming through on her bottom left
- She LOVES fuzzy blankets--that's how she self-soothes and falls asleep; the blanket has to be touching her cheek
- She loves watching TV, even though she is not supposed to
- She loves to be held by her Lala and Backaw
- She can hold her own bottle at times
- She loves to snuggle
- She drools a lot, but is not a big spitter-upper
- She LOVES her mobile; it has to be on before she will fall asleep
- She loves when I sing "Good Morning, Good Morning" from Singing in the Rain (I substitute "You didn't sleep the whole night through" instead of "We talked the whole night through")
- She loves to take baths in her Bumbo seat
- She got her ears pierced at 4 months old--she cried with the initial pinch, but hasn't been bothered by them since
- She was a ghost for Halloween
- She has survived 2 natural disasters and 2 major power outages (one for 5 days the other for 7 days) in her short lifespan (Tropical Storm Irene and Winter Storm Alfred)
- When you poke her tummy when it is flexed, she giggles and giggles
